Neil is the founder of Functional Therapies and has been involved in the health and fitness industry since 2005.

Qualifications in Myotherapy, Sports Therapy and Strength & Conditioning provide the backbone for his approach to musculoskeletal pain.

Neil is a strong advocate for the need of a movement based resolution to pain and injury and this is evident in all of his sessions.

The key to long term results in rehab is to constantly aim to improve movement capacity. First we must move well, then focus on moving often!


Zach Hannan

Zach has completed a bachelor of health science in clinical Myotherapy and joined the functional therapies team in 2020. He is passionate about providing a comprehensive patient focused approach for people suffering musculoskeletal pain and associated conditions.


Zach delivers evidence based treatment and rehabilitation with a strong emphasis on providing individuals with the knowledge needed to make informed decisions about their health. Each session is tailored to the specific needs of the individual.

Zach has a particular interest in chronic pain conditions as well as sporting injuries and believes that an integral part of the solution is patient education.


Marco Dasso

Clinical Myotherapist

Marco completed a Bachelor of Health Science in clinical myotherapy in 2019 at the Southern School of Natural Therapies. The knowledge he acquired is not just the result of years of study, but also his personal experience as a former professional swimmer.

His practice is characterised by an evidence-based approach, delivering tailored assessment and treatment with the inclusion of movement and exercises for rehabilitation.

Marco's passion for sports and interest in treating novice and professional athletes took him to enroll to the Graduate Diploma in Applied Sport Science at Deakin University to grow his expertise.

Marco believes that movement and exercise are an essential component in overcoming musculoskeletal injuries and associated pain.
